The Ashes : England win after 18 matches in Australia

 England defeated Australia by 4 wickets in the fourth Test of the Ashes series. This ended England's 18-match Test victory in Australia. England's last Test victory in Australia came in 2011 at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG).

Australia won 16 of the 18 Tests played since then, drawing two. England's winless streak began after a 5-0 defeat in the 2013-14 Ashes series.

On Saturday, the second day of the match, Australia set England a target of 175 runs to win, which the English team achieved for the loss of six wickets. Played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Australia was all out for 132 in the second innings. Earlier, Australia had been bowled out for 152 in the first innings, while England could only manage 110 in the first innings.

Australia took a 42-run lead in the first innings, but England made a remarkable comeback in the second innings to win the match. English pacer Josh Tongue, who took seven wickets in the match, was named Player of the Match.

Chasing a target of 175, England got off to a good start in the second innings. The team's first wicket came at 51. Mitchell Starc clean bowled Ben Duckett, who scored 34 runs off 26 balls.
